About George
George Gauntlett BSc (Hons) MCSP is a Chartered Physiotherapist and founder of George Gauntlett Physio. He also works in professional sport as a Senior Physiotherapist with Bath Rugby.
Previously, George worked as a Performance Physiotherapist with athletes from GB Triathlon, swimming and tennis, as well as across a wide range of other high-performance environments. His clinical experience also includes working in the NHS.
Alongside his specialist work in sports performance, George provides detailed assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries—supporting people with goals ranging from comfortable everyday movement to a full return to competition.
At Church Street Practice, George treats patients over the age of 16 with new injuries, longstanding pain, reduced mobility, and rehabilitation needs before or after surgery.
You do not need to be an athlete to benefit from detailed assessment, clear explanations and rehabilitation informed by high-performance environments.

Payment is required at the time of booking, and a receipt can be provided for you to submit to your insurer where applicable. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, will be invoiced at the full cost of the booked appointment.
